Method: projects.locations.dataPolicies.rename

Renames the id (display name) of the specified data policy.

POST https://bigquerydatapolicy.googleapis.com/v1/{name=projects/*/locations/*/dataPolicies/*}:rename

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters

Required. Resource name of the data policy to rename. The format is projects/{projectNumber}/locations/{locationId}/dataPolicies/{dataPolicyId}

Required. The new data policy id.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of DataPolicy.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/bigquery
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
